About GigGuide^tw

GigGuide^tw is a place for bands and venues to post gigs in Taipei and for you to easily find what's going on around town.

I have been living in Taiwan for over 4 years I don't know how many times I've heard people say "What!? [insert band name here] played in Taipei and I didn't know about it? How did I miss that?".

I decided to do something about it and developed this website.

GigGuide^tw is a place for bands and venues to post gigs in Taipei and for you to easily find what's going on around town.

Taiwan has a good music scene already but I know it can become way better. Not only are there some great bands here, but Taiwan is just a small hop from Japan, Hong Kong, China (etc. etc.) and is an easy/cheap stop-off point.

We've been seeing some hot international bands play here recently and hope the trend continues. If your band (doesn't matter how underground you are!) wants to tour Asia then we hope you can find venues and promoters to make it possible to play Taiwan too.
