MISIA, born on July 7, 1978, in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan, is a Japanese R&B singer. Her current record label is Ariola Japan and she belongs to Rhythmedia management company. She debuted on February 21, 1998, with the song "Tsutsumikomu Yo ni...," and is most known for her hit song "Everything," which sold roughly 1.9 million copies.
